In order to proceed to the registration of a new .eu domain, please

that the name you tend to register is free.
Preregistration up to the 6th of April 2006
Up to the 6th of April 2006, the registration application can be
submitted only from registrers that belong to special categories
like owners of trademarks, public bodies of geographic places,
toponyms etc. If you belong to the above categories and you want
to submit an application for a .eu domain, please contact with
us.
The registration for an .eu domain is free for all those who are interested in, from the 7th of April 2006 and then.
Up to then, you can submit the preregistration application of the .eu
domains that you wish.
The applications that will be submitted and will financially be
arranged, will be submitted to the registry on the 7th of April
2006.
The preregistration does not guarantee rights on the spesific
domain, as it is likely to be submitted tens of application for
the specific domain, and only the application that will be submitted
first and will meet the conditions, will have the rights on the
specific domain. IP is not responsible for any rejections of the
registration application of the domain names that will be done
from the EURid for whatever reason.
In case your application will not have a successful conclusion, you can register an another
domain of your choice with the corresponding fee that was paid
, or to have back the cost that you paid from the IP's offices.
Regular registration from the 7th of April 2006
IP provides online control panel with direct link to the registry (Eurid). The registration process, on condition that all the involved networks work regularly, is at it follows:
The registrer submits the registration application for the .eu domain of his choice.
The application's data are saved to IP's data base and depending on the way of payment:
If the payment is done with a successful charge of his credit card, the application
is submitted directly to the registry. The registrer receives from the registrar
a confirmation email with the protocol number of the application.
If the payment is done by an another way ( deposit to a banking account, cash),
the registration application will be submitted to the registry after the registration
fees are paid and IP is relatively informed. Up to the payment of the registration
fees, the domain remains free for registration to any interested in
and we cannot guarantee his future availability.
The domain's activation becomes (after the payment is done) with the restart of the root name servers of the Eurid, that
becomes every 6 to 12 hours.
