A good idea in order to attract new costumers as well as to keep your existing ones engaged to your brand is to provide them with discount coupons occasionally.
Follow the steps bellow to see how you can do this through the PrestaShop administration panel:
- Login to PrestaShop’s administration panel.
- At the dashboard select Catalog → Discounts.
- At the Cart Rules tab click on Add new cart rule button.
- At the Information tab type the name of the coupon, give a description for it and the coupon code. Keep in mind that description will be visible only for you.
- At the Conditions tab you can select the period that the coupon will be valid as well as other parameters related to its validation.
- At the Actions tab type the amount of the discount and select whether you wish to apply it for the whole cart or to specific products.
- Click Save to activate the coupon on your eshop.
