Unlimited websites - so I can host as many websites as I want?
In the Standard Premium hosting plan, there is no limit in the number of the websites that you can host. You can link as many addon domains as you want. This package of course comes with some specifications that are mentioned in this page. Generally, as long as the limits of this package are not exhausted (such as the iNodes) and there are sufficient resources (CPU, RAM, I/Ο, iops etc.) as well, it would make sense to link more addon domains.
What about the speed of my websites? Will it be fast?
If your websites are relatively simple and not very demanding in system resources, then the speed will be legit. But if one of the sites is quite needy and consumes the resources provided by the hosting plan, it may cause the delay of the other sites since the package will be out of resources.
When you know that a site is dealing with performance issues, it is advisable that you keep them in standalone cPanel accounts so they can be be easily supervised. Our servers have mechanisms that monitor the consumption of resources in every hosting plan, but if one cPanel account is linked with many applications, it is more difficult to identify which website is causing the problem.
If a demanding website has a standalone hosting plan and you encounter delays, you can test it in collaboration with our tech support, either via a trial increase of the system resources, or with an X-RAY module analysis that is included in the Business NVMe & Semi Dedicated Line. If you need any assistance with the performance evaluation of your website, do not hesitate to contact us.
I have many small eshops - can I host them in the Standard Premium hosting plan?
In a typical and technical level there is no restriction, as to whether the websites of the hosting plan are eshops or of other type like blogs, business presentations etc.
Practically, if your eshops aren't demanding, you will be able to host them on the same hosting plan without having issues with the speed and the performance.
What might be a deterrent factor, is the security of your eshop. Especially if you use open-source applications that are often the target of malicious attacks, you need to update your applications every time a new version is released. This way you will achieve the maximum possible security level for your application. If there is any security update for the application you use, regardless of the size of your eshop, the number of products and the amount of sales, you need to download and install all the available updates with no exception, in order to reduce the risks, both for this particular eshop and for the other eshops hosted on the same hosting plan.
I have some plain sites but the have bulky mailboxes - is the Standard Premium hosting plan going to cover me?
As far as the performance of the site is concerned, you probably won't face any problem. When it comes to the mail storage usage and in conjunction with the size of the mailboxes, you can combineb> your subscription with an Email hosting plan.
So if a website that you host on the Standard Premium plan, has email accounts that use more than 1GΒ per email account that is the limit of this hosting plan, then for this specific site you can purchase an email hosting plan to combine with the current one and transfer your emails there.
Is the Standard Premium hosting plan a reseller plan? What is the difference between them?
The Standard Premium hosting plan is not a reselling hosting plan. Τα Reseller hosting plans that we offer, are also managed through cPanel, with an additional control panel (WHM) for the Reseller. Through the WHM control panel, the Resellers can create their hosting plans and open a separate cPanel for each of their clients.
On the other hand, the Standard Premium hosting plan has a single cPanel account, in which the websites are added as extra domains (addon domains).
If you want to resell hosting services to your customers, then a Reseller hosting plan is what you are looking for. But if you have many sites of your own and none of them are demanding of system resources, then the Standard Premium hosting plan is the one for you.
