When registering a .bio domain, the customer accepts the terms of use applicable to all gTLDs, as described in previous section, and moreover commits that will not undermine in any way the principles associated with organic agriculture, as configured by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM).

In addition, if the customer is a producer, processor or retailer in the sector of agriculture, food or farming, the customer is bound to follow the above principles as well as any other regulations governing the market in which the client trades or wishes to promote the customer's products through of content that publishes in the website, for which the domain .bio has been registered for.
