How do I find the authorization code of my domain?
Responsible for disclosing your domain's authorization code is the current registrar of this domain.
If your domain has been registered in any another company, you will need to contact your registrar and ask to be informed about the authorization code.
If your domain has been registered in IP.GR, you may find your domain's authorization code through your account in our website. For your convenience, you may follow the steps below:
- Log into your IP.GR account. If you experience any trouble while trying to login, you can find all the relevant instructions here.
- Once you log into your IP.GR account, navigate to:
Dashboard > Domains > My domain names
- There, you can find the list of your active domain names. Then click the Edit button on the right of this domain.
- From the side menu of this domain, go to the Authorization Code tab.
- If your domain is a .gr domain, click the "Create Authorization Code" button, so the relevant instructions on how to obtain the authorization code, will be sent from the Registry to the current email address of the domain owner. The link that will be sent via email, will be active for six (6) hours and can be used only one (1) time.
- If your domain's extension is any other extension, such as .eu, .com, .net, .info or .biz, you can ask the authorization code to be sent from the relative Registry, to the current email address of the domain owner.
