How do I find my version of PHP?

Often, when you manage a site, you may have to know which is the version of PHP running on the server which is hosting your website. For instance, while installing a new application you may want to be sure that the server meets minimum requirements for PHP. In this article we will see how you can find the PHP version through cPanel.

To find the PHP running on the server hosting your website, you may follow the steps below:

  1. Log in cPanel of your hosting package.
  2. In the left section, you may find Stats. You should look for PHP version indication. If you can't see it, click on expand stats link.

  3. Once you have spotted PHP Version, you should be seeing an indication such as:
    find PHP Version indication

Now you know how you can find the PHP version through your cPanel!
