How to set up an e-mail account in Outlook 2016 / 2019

Before setting up your e-mail to Outlook, you should first create an e-mail account through your cPanel account.

Once your e-mail account is created, you can follow the steps below:

1. Open Microsoft Office Outlook software.

2. Select the File menu.

3. Press the + Add Account button.

4. Enter the e-mail address that you want to setup and click Advanced options.

5. Check the Let me set up my account manually  option and click Connect.

6. Fill in your password and click Connect. (avail. in version 2019)

7. Select either POP or IMAP.

8. Once you fill in the requested fields, press Next.

Note:  These settings can be found in your cPanel as well, through the Email section > Email Accounts by clicking CONNECT DEVICES button right next to the e-mail account.

9. A password field will show up again in order to recheck your e-mail password. Once you do that, press Connect.

10. Once your e-mail account has been successfully set up, a box will appear saying Account setup is complete. Press Done.
