In an Email you just type a message on your computer and send it digitaly through the Internet to whomever you wish as recipient.
You do not have to wait 3-5 days to deliver your message, as with conventional mail. This makes human communication much more direct and much more efficient.
To send an email you need three things:
- your email address
- a mail application (eg. Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird)
- an Internet connection to be able to send your message.
