Follow the steps bellow and add a product to your OpenCart site easily
Login to OpenCart's administration Panel
From the navigation menu click Catalog → Products
Click + (Add New) (right corner) to create a new product
At the General tab fill the required Product Name and Meta Tag Title fields, with the name of the product and the name of the browser tab
At the Data tab fill the required field Model, as well as every other field you think would be necessary to describe the product. One of the most important field is the price (chose to display with or without taxes). It would be nice to consider the message that will appear when the product is out of stock. You can change this in the field Out Of Stock Status.
At the Links tab fill the field Categories with the category under which you wish your product to be displayed (see here how to create a category of products in OpenCart). Fill every other field you think its necessary for your product.
Option tab gives you a variety of options such as the creation of a checkbox to choose between different color for a T-shirt.
At the Image tab upload the image of the product (assuming it has one) to be more specific about it. To do so, click the already existing image and then the pencil icon.
Browse the other tab as well to create a more detailed product.
Click save and go to your website to see the result.
